the forgotten

Dearest ______,

I am fascinated by old furniture in random places and states of discard.

You know me- I am all about stories. And if there’s something that’s as telling as a real gossip monger, that would be the pieces of furniture quietly set in the background of life’s everyday scenes.

They are the inconspicuous audience to whom the domestic dramas of our daily existence unfold.

Say, if you look closely at some couches at the trash heap, they might mock you with knowing sighs.

They have been forgotten, but most of them never really quite forget.
