Here’s quite the happy little bunch to wish you and your loved ones
the happiest of New Years to come!
1) Baby’s Breath 2) Orange ombre Carnations 3) Statice (a.k.a. Everlasting) in rich purple
From that Christmassy bouquet I did last week, I managed to salvage the green leaves which were still in surprisingly good (read: live) condition. What’s great about Statice flowers is that they pretty much stay this way (read: live and still rich in colour) for weeks at a time!
I found a crystal necklace on my dresser that had the same colour scheme with the lively bouquet, so I opted to just hang it on the arrangement for a little element of “something else”. (This crystal vase was a wedding present from Crate and Barrel)
Mandarin oranges strewn below the happy bouquet to add a touch of the Singaporean Chinese New Year (which is only a few weeks away, coincidentally) to this equally festive day.
